I always think of friendships as kind of a rope with a float you throw out to your friends who need you. And the rope that it’s attached to gets strengthened though growing together and doing the things friends do for each other. Two of my friends are feeling so alone and scared. I broke this rope because I don’t know what to do to make them feel better. It’s driving me crazy. It’s like I threw the float and my rope broke and they’re stranded.
Srsly. That one gif of him has been all over my dash tonight. XD
Heck yes.

When I get there:
When I start confessing my sins:
When I’m done confessing my sins:
When my sins are absolved:
When I’m given my penance and it’s 3 Hail Mary’s again:
Yes. Yes. YES!OMG ACCURATE

We talk about just driving up to Canada instead of returning home, and easy two hour drive. Except the gas is low, and we’re driving a fifteen passenger van.
Just the two of us in a big white whale of a vehicle.
Homeschoolers to heart, we joke about “if we were public schooled…”
We fight all…

My family and I went to the zoo today and my mom told me she over heard a woman say “I’d rather have a baby with Down Syndrome than have a fat one.” She actually said those words. From her mouth. To another person. Out loud. Now, lemme tell you something about my weight. I am NOT a skinny girl. I never was. Ever. I also never had Down Syndrome. But let me tell you right now. If I would have heard her I would have told her that I’d rather her not have kids. If I had a kid with Down Syndrome it would have taken everything to not punch her in the mouth. Seriously, all kids are beautiful and if you’re going to be that much of a pretentious snob maybe the parenting route wasn’t for you. Or maybe you should rethink your outlook on AFFECTION, because as a daughter I will tell you right now, your kid will let you down in more ways than being fat or having a disability that they have no control over but that doesn’t mean they suck. K? Thanks.

It has outlived all empires. It is older than America. It can be traced back to Peter and, namely, Jesus. It has remained strong through persecution and hate. It has survived many skeptics calling it out.
If you think the Catholic Church will change just to match up with the ideals of this fleeting time, perhaps you need to learn a little more about it.

Reflections Portraits by Tom Hussey
Tom Hussey portrays old people looking at their younger reflection in the mirror. These photographs are beautiful and melancholic.
Breath-taking.
